Amit Pitaru introduced me to the concept of creative coding during a summer class at ITP.
In this sketch, letters and words are projected into three-dimensional space. Letters are represented on the plane of the keyboard, and the linearity of verbal space translates to motion along an axis toward the viewer/author.
