[demo instructions]
note: this demo is an adaptation of the installation software, redesigned to allow keyboard control. this is not a standalone piece; vectogram is best played in person.

[gameplay]
- each player begins by selecting a color. press a deploy button once to select, and again to confirm.
- next, begin deploying vectoids with the deploy buttons. each vectoid costs a certain amount of points to deploy; a player may only deploy as many vectoids as the player has points enough to spend. vectoids are deployed at the cursor location. once deployed, vectoids can no longer be controlled by either player.
- to recover points by deleting vectoids, hold the delete key while pressing a deploy key.
- to change a player's color in the game, delete all of that player's vectoids, then hold the delete key and press any deploy key. the player will return to the color selection screen.

each of the five vectoid types has a strength and a weakness. this hierarchy is described in the vectoid deployment diagram in front of each player.
- boxys destroy pointys but are destroyed by skinnys.
- pointys destroy roundys but are destroyed by boxys.
- roundys destroy polys but are destroyed by pointys.
- polys destroy skinnys but are destroyed by roundys.
- skinnys destroy boxys but are destroyed by polys.

select your vectoids carefully to either steal and defend control of the canvas from your opponent, or to match your opponent's selections in order to share the canvas.
